SafeZone
See at a glance where things are tense right now — reported by people on the ground, in seconds and without an account.
The app is coming soon to the App Store and Google Play.
What SafeZone does
Map with a traffic light
Reports are grouped into areas and coloured yellow, orange or red depending on how frequent, how severe and how recent they are. Older reports fade out automatically.
Report in seconds
Tap a category, optionally add a few attributes, done. No free text, no photos, no names — the app deliberately only records what the map needs.
Warning when you get close
If you want, SafeZone lets you know when you approach a reported area. The monitoring runs on your device and the notification is created locally.
Find help
Emergency numbers for your country, the nearest police station, the nearest hospital and shelters nearby — also when things need to move fast.
Important
SafeZone is not an emergency service and does not replace the authorities. If you are in acute danger, call 110 or 112 (in Germany). Reports come from users and are not officially verified.
Privacy is not the small print here
- No account, no email address, no password.
- No free text and no photos — there simply is no field for it.
- Your location is not logged on our servers.
- Reports are deleted after 90 days at the latest.
- Servers in Germany (Frankfurt am Main).
Free to use, optional to support
All safety features are free. Without a subscription a small banner on the map finances the app — the reporting, help and settings areas never show ads.
